Verse of the Day

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.

Romans 8:1-2 NKJV

All You Have to Do Devotional: His Name

How powerful is the name of Jesus? 1 Corinthians 6:11 says that we are sanctified and justified in His name. We are saved by Jesus’ glorious name. Calling on His name is how we are saved, by His grace. But that is not the only thing the name of Jesus can do. Mark 16:17 says that we can cast out demons in His name. I, personally, whenever I feel the evil one near, start saying, “In the name of Jesus, leave me alone Satan!” I say that until the devil leaves, which does not take long at all. Whether you wish that your sins will be washed away or the devil is tormenting you, all you have to do is call on His name, the name of Jesus.

Not Delighting in the Lord Syndrome

Do you have a desire to do something, but God keeps closing the doors to do so? Well, you might have a problem called Not Delighting in the Lord Syndrome. This disease happens when one does follow God’s will first and foremost. The Bible has the cure. We are to do the will of God and He will eventually give us the ability to do our desires. For example, my desire is to sing on the Christian tour, Winter Jam. I know that as long as I put God’s will before mine, this will happen one day, in His timing. Read Psalms 37:4-5 to find the cure to Not Delighting in the Lord Syndrome.

Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, trust in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.                                                        Psalms 37:4-5
